Welcome to my blog! I write from Newfoundland, an island in the North Atlantic ocean, part of the most eastern province of Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador. I am a woman with a burning desire to share my experiences with others. Of Life and Death is an outlet to discuss all that makes me feel alive with death along for the ride. If that freaks you out or confuses you a bit, I totally understand. I would have felt the same way not too long ago. I will discuss in my blogs how I have learned to accept that talking about the often taboo fact that I am a living being who will one day die actually enhances my experience of living. Stay tuned, you’ll see what I mean!
When I was 18 years old my hairdresser at the time commented on the enthusiastic nature of the stories I told her. She said, “Paula, every day you are happy about something. Don’t ever lose that.” Those wise words never left me. Now in my 40s, I share some of these moments here. Every photo or personal video I post will share a moment when I felt that excitement of the pure joy of life.
All views and opinions are my own, hence, subject to change at any moment, of course:) This a fluid blog with no set agenda or schedule. Just me and my stories, questions, comments, opinions, open mind, and wild heart. I am glad you’re here.
